OUR VISION
We believe that the greatest human drive is self-preservation. For many mothers, self-preservation is centered on the survival of their offspring. At RGK, we aim to provide financial assistance to the poorest of families with an emphasis on Women with children in Nigeria, West Africa.
Why African Women Need a Revolutionary Microfinance Solution
Starting from scratch is a long, tough road to financial security.
We, at RGK Foundation for Women Empowerment, are supporting a revolutionary concept to help some of the world’s poorest mothers work their way out of poverty with dignity.

It is even more challenging to begin without money, which is the reality for most of the women in Africa. There are no banks where they come from and have little access to capital. Instead, they depend on informal networks, most often a kind of revolving fund where they save money collectively and are able to borrow from the public funds. However, these numbers are often small, and thus, the impact is modest.

OUR MISSION
Our innovative solutions ensure that poor mothers and girls across Africa have access to the financial tools and training they require to lift themselves out of poverty. We aim to lift lives above severe poverty through empowering mothers to start their small businesses, increase current business cash flow and commodities, and finish higher levels of school and trade schools to better the lives of their children and future.

RGK MISSION STATEMENT
Empowering and lifting women in West Africa through Financial support, Coaching and Mentoring.
WHY WE DO, WHAT WE DO
Imagine This:
A strong but financially strapped mother in a ruler African town gets a tiny loan — maybe a couple of hundred dollars. It’s the break she’s always needed. With the loan, she can finally purchase the materials to start a small business. She turns a profit. The income rises. Now she has money to expand her start-up even further, let her kids better nutritious food, pay their school fees. Over time, her whole family is lifted out of poverty.
We want to spark the idea of how small loans can impact bigger changes in the lives of female breadwinners.
THE RIPPLE EFFECT
When an RGK loan enables someone to grow a business and create opportunities for themselves, it creates opportunities for others as well. That ripple effect can shape the future of a family or an entire community.
