EMPOWERING AND LIFTING WOMEN IN WEST AFRICA THROUGH FINANCIAL SUPPORT, EDUCATION
COACHING AND MENTORING.
We aim to help women transform their own lives. And we think microfinance is an ideal way to do that. Imagine This:
A poor woman in Nigeria gets a tiny loan — maybe a couple of 10, 20, 50, or even 100K Naira. It’s the break she’s always needed. With the loan, she can finally purchase the materials to start a small business. She turns a profit. The income rises. Now she has resources to expand her start-up even further, let her kids get better nutritious food, pay their school fees. Over time, her whole family is lifted out of poverty.
THIS IS THE GOAL of RGK
A COMMUNITY FOR WOMEN, FOUNDED BY WOMEN, SPRUNG UP TO ADDRESS THE SYSTEMIC, ECONOMIC BARRIERS THAT MANY LESS PRIVILEGED WOMEN FACE WHEN LAUNCHING THEIR BUSINESSES.

WE ENVISION A FINANCIALLY INCLUSIVE AFRICA WHERE ALL WOMEN HOLD THE POWER TO IMPROVE THEIR LIVES.
Regina Gold Knighton Foundation has taken the initiative to help break the cycle of poverty by microfinancing loans and aides to empower women-owned small businesses with a zero interest rate. This project provides foundational training in entrepreneurship and business management as well as business capital to women entrepreneurs. Our foundation enables them to start or expand their businesses, become self-reliant and also employ other women.
This will offer women the opportunity and the assistance that they need to break free from the cycle of poverty.
RGK was founded on the premise that No One has Ever Become Poor by Giving.
We AIM to help the bread-winners in the remote corners of Africa starting from the South-Eastern part of Nigeria pull themselves and their children out of poverty.
